Introduction: I am a gentleman's gentleman of good reputation, though my family are mountaineers and my father was a lightning catcher. While training for the family profession, I was grievously injured, losing the use of my right hand. The LuftBaron from my canton sponsored me for the attentions of DoctorWintertop, who used esoteric practices to restore my hand, patterning the restored right hand upon my intact left hand. Indeed, each hand feels the ghost of a touch upon the other. I have the Baron and the Doctor to thank for my recovery. My mother would not allow me to go on the heights again, and the Baron's valet saw my potential. Thanks to them all, I have served the good and great and visited the High Court and the Deep Court.
