The current holder of the role is PrinceXanthus, the second son of the current Lord Keeper. Much gossip surrounds the Prince's questionable taste in women, but I suspect a political marriage is heading his way.

Quite a baffling position. Neither Kendel Dung nor Prince Xanthus have been capable warriors. Perhaps the previous position holders did so in more than name?

Really, the idea of Xanthus contraindicating BaronStormwing or his analogues in the Sky Levy or Palace Guard is just ludicrous.

It seems to me that the position of LuftBaron is a post intended to test who will sink or swim. I've heard that four generations back the HighCourt had a very capable LuftBaron who coordinated orders and interpreted troop movements and reports like the LordMilitant's own right hand might do.
