Front Page SkyLevy

The SkyLevy is a right of the LuftBaron to enlist able citizens of the HighCourt into aviatory service, as well as a colloquial 'rank' of enlisted person. SkyLevy fighters aren't SkyKnights by any stretch - they're given an arquebus, an airship tether, a parachute and a pocket-book of prayers to go with their uniform and marching orders.

Currently a detachment of levied individuals is waiting for muster from VulturesPerch?, an ArchebellochTradingCompany warehouse that has been ordered to host them by the LuftBaron. SkyKnights have seized the aerial tramway that serves the remote outpost.

Comments, shouting matches, addenda, rumormongering:

Such a peremptory call for a SkyLevy would seem to bode no good. Perhaps there has been some unusual loss from the muster rolls, or some unexpected need for hands in service. Though I have not been close to the operations of the HighCourt forces at arms of late, so I can only speculate.

You've been filling the skies recently dry landers. Are you up to something?

LuftBaronKell? gets it, but PrinceXanthus keeps sending me these notices of conscription. I don't think he understands that I'm not going to enlist. I wouldn't fight for the Scottish Empire in Erde so I certainly won't fight for the HighCourt.
