He rides an absolutely splendid MithrilEagle named "By My Decree."

A native of UpperAdamant, he was once a member of the HighGuard prior to being the LuftBaron. When he joined the Circle, he transferred the High Guard's loyalty to the Circle and allowed the establishment of the CrimsonCloud.

The Lord Militant's closest friend is the young BaronStormwing who entered the household as a supposed friend of MarquisJackson, Gustav's youngest son. Gustav took a strong liking to the boy and mentored him throughout his rise within the SkyKnights until he headed the CrimsonCloud. When the the Baron and the Marquis confessed their longtime relationship to the Lord Militant, Gustav was mortified. Accused them both of deceiving him, abruptly cut off the strategic planning sessions with Stormwing. Reason took hold of him shortly thereafter, such that Ludwig and Gustav has resumed their friendship, but at the peril of never saying a further word about whose castle who sleeps in and the extent of their familiarity with Gustav's son.

A sad state of affairs.

LadyLionheart put her foot in it shortly after the Baron and Marquis had made their confession. Assuming that things had gone swimmingly, she'd congratulated Gustav on having such a fine soldier for a son-in-love. The tirade that Gustav leveled on her was unprecedented, especially since in the middle of the row, he realized that literally the entire Circle of Six had known of this affair before he had.

Lord Okorie features strongly in stories of both the VaultedWar's origin and ending. He had wooed JusticeEuphretes from LadyLionheart perhaps in response to the above incident, and her actions in the War were decisive in it ending as cleanly as it did.
