LadyLionheart

The Lady has a particularly unusual position here in HighCourt. She has no actual standing in the CircleOfSix, but is often regarded as an honorary member due to her status as the LadyPrecedent's consort. Both are, of course, heavily rumored to be part of the UmberAlliance with DuchessFiredrake.

Lionheart also has ties to LadyHarmony, due to their mutual interest in the PilgrimageOfTheChords (and equal concern for the ScarletProphesies). I have a feeling that Lady Agatha has simply been courting her favor to make up for the vacuum caused by having no sitting LordHarmony on the Circle. But that may bite Agatha in the back if Lionheart acquires a surprise appointment to the Circle at GrandSummer like the rumor mill suggests.

Lady Lionheart maintains a small force of SkyKnights that are unaffiliated with the three HighCourt-sanctioned branches. One of her former lieutenant, JusticeEuphretes, has since left her force for a prominent role in the CrimsonCloud.

She's well known for her appreciation of the WindHarps and for having a flask of BlackOctopusRum in her desk.

Note to the wise dearies, if you see a group of SkyKnight with no flags, gray armor, helmets that hide their faces and masks underneath, then chances are it's Lady Lionheart's troops who've been paid for their swords.

How did I come across such information? I had a genteel discussion with such a knight after he and his comrades killed 12 of my crew.

So now, madam, LadyLionheart has joined this mysterious UmberAlliance? A secret cabal of ladies of the court is, shall we say, far-fetched. My frequent close questioning of several ladies-in-waiting assures me that this is nothing more than a literary circle.

My understanding is that her ladyship is merely the membership secretary of a small social circle. The regular presence of incognito SkyKnights, my contacts assure me, is little more than personal bodyguards for the ladies.

If it were a clandestine mission, madam, then I am sure my expertise would have been called into service.

What post would LadyLionheart be given? Surprise, indeed! LadyKeys' position requires specific skills and circumstance, the LordMilitant has a comfortable surplus of respect, the public won't stand for a new LadyHarmony, LadyPrecedent already provides her with status...I mean..
