Front Page DuchessFiredrake

Her Ladyship Duchess Matilda Firedrake is a charming, vivacious jewel of the HighCourt. She is famous for completing the PilgrimageOfTheChords in just six days. She regularly hosts card parties at the SingingTower, where the fashionable meet to discuss the latest court gossip.

Note should be made of Her Ladyship's endless feud with LadyLionheart. These two noble ladies squabble over the attention of BaronStormwing and the correct interpretation of the ScarletProphesies.

"Oh my Duchess Firedrake, How you make my poor heart quake . . ."

Commentary, footnotes, disputes, refutations, addenda:

Such an interesting human, spiritually accomplished, lucky in cards and stalwart in battle yet so clumsy and blind in love! Just like her Cennend, really. Tightly allied to the LadyKeys.

I was pleased to assist DuchessFiredrake in preparing the hall for her TopographicalProcession?, repeating in miniature her travels during the PilgrimageOfTheChords, myself then being attached to BaronStormwing's traveling court at that time. She gifted me with this miniature of herself pendant from a fine chain.

Something's off with her. I've never met the good Duchess, and never will if I want to keep my head, but I've seen the loyalty she inspires. They way her inner circle is, it frightens me, no give in take, all shallow selflessness.

I wager she's got a trick to her cards, something sinister.

An interesting gem I heard while in, em, conference, with the JusticeEuphretes; some are intimating that the so-called feud between the Duchess and LadyLionheart is in some way a smokescreen to detract from their mutual affiliation, along with LadyPrecedent, as part of the secretive UmberAlliance. Which I think we all know was instrumental to the HighCourt winning the VaultedWar along with the dubious contributions of BaronessaAcaraDeLaRook. It seems an unlikely tale, but has a startling ring of truth to it.
