I almost respect her successful and positively anti-human rebellion against the laws of succession of the HighCourt, but even a chance to learn about her Barony and its people cannot motivate me to meet with her. How she manages it is too cruel.

I worry that her shadow will reach the shores I travel, or that her minions will hear of my disapproval. She even cursed the young Archebelloch Heir when excluded from xir first Cotillion!

No amount of influence will still my memory.

Scholar Grisau says 'I respect the Baronessa in all of her unique endeavors, despite baseless rumors of misuse of sorcery. Her vital role in the VaultedWar is notable, and the metals she exports from the mountains of high quality.

If only travel to the Rook Barony were easier, the scholar laments, we should visit.

I've never met her but even we of the sea fear her power for all know the legend of the TuvaStyx?, the haunted WinderWave she cursed to roam undersea forever.

The Baronessa's genius has been in cleverly delegating important routines to those whose lives depend upon her, thus remaining gloriously free to deliberate on strategy and swiftly act on moments of opportunity. The VaultedWar was one of the rare occasions when the Baronessa acted in close and sustained personal collaboration with others outside her command.

The TribunalOfWestinton judged the Baronessa's conduct during the VaultedWar to be without cause for formal punitive action. Although the record was, I must tell you, rich reading with a thimble of BlackOctopusRum at hand. A thimble only, I say.
