HighGuard

The HighGuard are the oldest order of SkyKnight. They are also the most pleasant. I have personally spent time in their custody and found them to be most competent and compassionate. When my crew negotiated my release, I made sure to return mercy in kind.

Over the centuries the newer orders have outshone the High Guard in tales of valor but these good knights have quietly remained the backbone of peace and order throughout the HighCourt.

I believe this has to do with the teachings of WithwinTally, the humble but brilliant inventor turned SkyKnight who founded them.

Considering their loyalty to the entire CircleOfSix, it is somewhat interesting to me that they appear bear some sort of greater fealty to the LadyHarmony. Don't take this the wrong way -- they'll throw themselves in front of an arrow for the LordMilitant just as quickly. But their eyes will gleam if they're doing it for Agatha. An unusual number of the High Guard have completed the PilgrimageOfTheChords during their off-season.
