One of the more unique occurrences of the previous GrandSummer was the exhibition of of the UshabtiCorps?, a platoon of automatons animated with VisViva? and taking their face, form, and pattern of movement from the Marquis himself. Their co-ordinated drilling and dancing was remarkably mesmerizing, as was their erection of a landing mast and execution of docking maneuvers for the arrival of MarquisJackson via an open-topped air barge.

Regrettably some younger members of the viewing audience threw bits of sticky street food, which broke up their perfection of movement and occasioned laughter among the most easily amused; and the tossing of a tiny LightningBottle? at the foot of one of the UshabtiCorps? set the whole group into disarray, colliding with one another and causing great confusion.

The BaronStormwing dispatched a small flight of SkyKnights to steady MarquisJackson's barge and prevent the disarray from occasioning damage or injury, so all was well.

The Marquis has been much less public with his successive experimental efforts.

Barracks rumour among the CrimsonCloud is that MarquisJackson has his eye on the role of LuftBaron, seeking to replace each magnificent MithrilEagle with some automated monstrosities straight from the blighted skies of Erde. Such a move would be strongly resisted.

One loud fellow swore vengeance from the VelvetHammers?, before his friends bustled him from the room.

The good Ser Ravensong is raving, in this instance. Surely the LuftBaroness AvaKordite would have made such a move already if that were the case? The only thing the Marquis has his eye on in the CrimsonCloud is BaronStormwing's backside.
