AvaKordite

Ava Kordite is a lovely woman with an insatiable curiosity. She's made great strides in HighCourt submersible science. In fact her people created the UnderSink?, a pale imitation of the WinderWave mind you, but it suffices to allow dry landers to visit the DeepCourt in comfort.

She's stayed as a 'treasured guest' on the Orca on more than one occasion, not her fault really, the poor dear just keeps getting in my way. Still she insists that our little meetings, as forced as they are, are far more pleasant than the KendelDung GrandSummer of 289.

The LuftBaroness is a devotee of WithwinTally, founder of the HighGuard. It is she who designed the artificial MithrilEagle. I would have said it is very difficult to pry her out of her workshop in WyvernTower?, but perhaps one must simply offer her a chance to meddle with a finely designed submersible.

She really seems able to put anything aside for a chance to study diving, or simply liquids themselves. Ava is always building some sort of contraption to study visually the way water flows, and to put it into mathematical terms. We have exchanged a few letters and the formulas she has put forth are very interesting.
