These are small predatory creatures who hunt by summoning bolts of electricity nearby. Hurts like a torch to the gills, I'll have you know! Apparently LadyKeys has a knack for taming them, but I can't see how anyone can stand to be around the awful things.
Big pointy ears, long fluffy tails. Give me an honest dogfish any day.

I hear Volt Cats are handy on dry lander ships, they can predict storms and climb the masts when one's about to strike.
I'd have a few on the Orca but their bolts don't mix well with water.
