Front Page SharkSaber

A shark saber is a pole-arm, akin to a partisan or glaive, specifically designed for aquatic use. The weapon features a long shaft (usually made of wood) culminating in an elongated spearhead with two "wings" or "spurs" below the head that stop a shark from then attacking the wielder. In some versions, the traditional design is modified so that shaft also has a long, loose chain that the wielder can tie to their wrist, allowing for the shark saber to be thrown and then pulled back.

Handy weapons they are. I won't go anywhere without mine.

Ah, sharks. Most will spit you out after one bite, having not found you toothsome in the experiment of biting you. Keeping that mouth at a distance is worth the weight and drag of a large weapon to many.
