Beware Whale Azures dearies. They're large, large enough to devour dry lander or Selkie, and large enough to damage a ship. Worse, in the deep, they are nearly invisible. They hunt everything, everything that is except the NarwhalGallant.

The Myriapodia have a way to deal with the Whale Azure, in fact they're a delicacy to them. Mind that they're highly poisonous to anyone else.

The Whale Azure are the single greatest danger to anyone navigating certain deeps. Even this old salt is wary of them.

As I've told the Troika many a time, the Whale Azure are clearly sentient and possessing of some sort of governance. There is a small albino whale that they swathe with ornate wreaths of kelp and even the BlackAndWhiteLights; I have heard this white whale sing out and the others answer its bidding.

Alas, they moved much too quickly for me, despite the aid of my magics, and I did not get to question them more.
