The Wild Hall Caper has been all the talk lately. A botched attempt to rob BaronStormwing's personal hunting retreat, that led to a tremendous chase over air and land. There are many versions of this story, so it may take me some research to narrow the elements down beyond what I've mentioned so far.

The robbers were possibly..pirates hiring out a refurbished MithrilEagle, or local revolutionaries bent on shaming the Baron, or a group of Selkie out to sink him just a little bit for not selling WildHarvest stakes at quite the rate they thought was fair..

..and they may have targeted..a precious Stormwing family heirloom, or a small shipment of taxes going through the retreat for the lord's official seal, or simply the kind of riches a lord may have stored up..

..and they were thwarted by..LadyKeys accepting a diplomatic invitation for once, or the presence of a whole wing of the CrimsonCloud, or a freak storm..

Very entertaining to the public, but less so for the lord Baron, who has made little comment.

The stories have nothing on the caper itself. You had to be there. It was the worst bungle I've ever seen on all sides. My purse is empty but still, I laugh!
