I had a brief stint as an adjunct with the Floating Schools shortly after I called it quits with NalaPirouette. "Eldritch Orientation, Survival Methods and Critical Divination" was a big hit. "Countercultural Interpretations of Post-Industrial Invocative Wards" was not. They have a particular philosophy as a spoken vocational and applied studies symposium that was a nice change for me, even if ultimately it wasn't one that I found suitable for long-term employment.
Some notable personages include the scholar HalloaGrisau, Headmixter VusetBafflu, and the only remaining student of the oral traditions, NasheFitzagua (whose fellow students are incredibly keen to repeat the unlikely gossip that xie is actually the unclaimed bastard heir of the ArchebellochTradingCompany).

Commentary, footnotes, disputes, refutations, addenda:
I think I can rest easy with the schools operating as they are now. Not only are they preserving the family and regional histories, genealogies and culture stories of my people, the schools are also developing as places where the learned mingle, discover, and act. They are more than places to keep paper dry in!
Rumors that EvadneSpiral began the lines of thinking that led to the SilentRevolution while attending the schools are patently false! Imagine the risks to our funding and lives if these pools of learning became places of agitation.
VarixArchebelloch's comments on the event have not helped matters.
