Such a lust for this metal in the DeepCourt! Any noncorrosive metal is welcome there, really, but of late this gleaming stuff has gotten very popular. It's light, strong, easy to forge (not underwater, mind you, except among the most well-heeled Mer craftsfolk who can afford the sorcery to do it) and takes to enchanting well. Craftsfolk I've spoken to about it say it listens to the hand that bends it.

I've heard AvaKordite is experimenting with it to make a more useful PerbaricHelm, and I look forward to her success. After all, VarixArchebelloch has an air gill made of this, though traditionally they're made of magewrighted brass.

Comments, disputes, addenda, yes-ands

I'll confess to occasionally pooling each JanusCoin I have into my hands and just staring at the mass of them contentedly from time to time. They have a faint soporific effect on the brain for some reason.

I have a lovely knife made from moonsilver platinum that one of the People (i.e. one of the MoonShadowWarriors) gave me. In the ribs. Before I killed her. A big misunderstanding. It has really nice detailing on the hilt.

I don't like to stare dreamily into the knife though, after that one time. Coins are safer.
