I'll cut straight to the chase, dearies, I have very little information on the Orphene Clasp; we Selkie stand together through thick and thin but there are some secrets we keep even from our kin.

What is certain:

They are a Selkie society who have an abiding connection with our king.

While they have an abiding connection to our king they do not always follow his desires; he was rather furious at the deal they made with VarixArchebelloch.

They're protectors, they've saved hundreds of Deep folk, usually from themselves.

They're experts at subtlety and misdirection. It'd take a WithwinTally to track them down.

They have a link to PhoqueVin.

Beyond that all else is rumor. I've never met one of the Clasp, they're not the type to hang around pirates.

KingProteus has a pet group of Selkie who can pass convincingly for drylanders. Or vice versa, I suppose.
