Phoque Vin claims to be KingProteus nephew and his claim is as strong as any, we keep our royal family cards close to the chest, dearies. What is certain is that he has pull both with Selkie and Phoecenni. As such the DeepCourt recognizes him as a noble, one of the few Selkie beyond our King who has that honor.

He's linked to the OrpheneClasp and the clasp is rumored to be linked to the SilentRevolution and because of this QueenMyriada wants a word. Of course, he currently can't be found, though even if she were to find him she'd have to tread carefully; Another incident like what happened with the Deep SilentRevolution and she'll lose favor of Selkie, Myriapodia and Phoecenni; a prime opportunity for her Mer rivals in the court.

I for one would like to think the Mer aren't so cold-hearted as to not already be watching Myriada for an answer to the SilentRevolution, but age warns my sentimentality away. Phoque is nowhere to be found, and so too is my student Nashe.

I hope for their sake something gives in the DeepCourt before they are found.
