Front Page IronBiter

Among the HighCourt there is one position of no loftiness or nobility whatsoever; the jester. Like the incessant nibbling of a remora, a jester's words lance at parasites, feces, and dead traditions. It is best to listen to IronBiter and not repeat anything.

IronBiter's durability makes him an excellent jester - who would slap a gargoyle for an insult? How can a flogging correct his speech? If he offends a SkyKnight overmuch, he can fly away before they reach their mount. He holds his tongue for the BaronessaAcaraDeLaRook, who could steal the enchantment that brings him life, and the LadyPrecedent, who imported him from her homeland. DuchessFiredrake will certainly drop his stone carcass into the ocean one of these days. The LuftBaron enjoys his sense of humor, though.

Apparently he used to teach law?

Commentary, footnotes, disputes, refutations, addenda:

IronBiter told me that his brother is chained in a cave in the ThunderPeaks?, as punishment for his actions during the ReopeningOfTheDoors.

-- PythiaTwentyThree.

IronBiter was making jest of you. His brother, second of the ThreeGargoyles, is the guardian of a cave from which a host of dangerous beasts issued during the ReopeningOfTheDoors, assigned to his post for his meritorious actions at the time. The chains conduct VisViva? from LightningBottles should he need to be empowered for combat. Well, not all the beasts issuing from the cave were dangerous. That was the first time that FlitterMice were sighted. Useful little beasts, if well trained.

-- AlfredReadyman.

Talk to me not about the cursed IronBiter. There are some things a gentleman should not speak of, and that infernal jester blabs of them all. All of them, I say!

Yet, feed this mad creature a draught of the SodaDeeps and it recites the ScarletProphesies! How can a gargoyle know these secrets?
