Truly a Myriapod with a tentacle in every pool, Deritria Eleven, AKA The Shark, runs a series of petty scams. She is also known to smuggle and engage in strongarm tactics to maintain control over restricted goods like BlackOctopusRum. Her gang of thieves and confidence artists include Selkies, young Phoecenni, humans and other Myriapodia.

The Bluefins try to root her out constantly, but they are stymied by their knightly thinking and inability to operate effectively in the dry air.

EliuxDurant, the dockmixter at MerxomeHall? for the ArchebellochTradingCompany, has taken out a considerable bounty on The Shark. Xie wants to see her flogged for the theft of a custom glider intended as a gift for LadyPrecedent.

One thing to know about Deritria, she takes care of her own. No one can take that from her. If you'd like to try then my SharkSaber would like word.

On the other hand, I readily admit that those who cross her are mixed into chum.

I'm biased, of course, but the Shark is a gentle soul, truly. She simply has grand designs that must be put into place expeditiously, which doesn't always align with the morals of others.

There are countless details I could share, but let me think perhaps of one or two of the most interesting... As PythiaTwentyThree can agree, I'm sure, any Myriapod with an odd number of tentacles has a story about the missing one, since they grow in pairs of course. The Shark lost hers in a pitched battle when herself and her crew ran afowl of ThantarsZim?. This is when Thantars lost her eye of course. And while you all insist on referring to Deritria's "hidden lair" in the SodaDeeps, she actually can't abide the taste of that awful place in her pores. Having sailed above them myself and caught a whiff, I understand completely.
