KestrelPeaks

Immediately west, the SmokingLake and ThunderPeaks?. Much further to the west is the small but influential mountain Barony of Rook?. To the north, the DuchessFiredrake's province of Westinton?. To the South, the XerxinePeninsula and the GlitteringMile.

The region is heavily patrolled by SkyKnights. Predators include DonderSaurs, VoltCats and common cougars.

All tourists to the area should be sure to find a viewing platform looking north, from which the SapphireDome? can be clearly seen from the tallest of the Kestrel Peaks.

Of course many pilgrims will be here to visit the PlainOfTheLabyrinth? since they feature prominently on the PilgrimageOfTheChords. That should not stop non-pilgrims from viewing the Labyrinth. It is a fine sight indeed.

The Kestrel Peaks used to be home to such lovely shadow ports. Sadly the CrimsonCloud and the HighGuard rooted most of them out.

The KestrelPeaks are a major crossroads for travel among lands ruled by the HighCourt - novice aeronauts are not allowed to fly its routes even though the ThunderPeaks? may harbor more volatile weather and the piracy is more of a problem over the GlitteringMile.

Dem me, I love the smell of the KestrelPeaks in the morning!

There is no greater thrill than to ride a MithrilEagle through those hallowed peaks. Give me the open skies any day.
