FlightSerendipitous

The airship casino FlightSerendipitous is the finest of casinos! From the deep green carpets to the endless supply of BlackOctopusRum, it is a gambler's dream, sir. I'll wager you ten sovereigns you will not find a game that is not played in that shrine to chance. I would leave SharkJack to the DeepCourt fellows, but it is your money to lose.

I hear the place is frequented by KingProteus in disguise, but I should not repeat that too loudly if you value your skin.

The FlightSerendipitous is not, however, impressive as an airship. Too, too . . . Well, too dem big. Where is the wind in your hair? It is like a palace given flight: impressive, but not thrilling. Give me my MithrilEagle every time.

Before I dedicated my life to history, I was a mathematician. Very useful, that, and many of my students from that time are engineers now. Popular work on the coasts.

Anyhow, I delighted my whole visit to this casino, though only their 'Pearl suites' had proper accommodations for sleeping in water. Luckily, after a few hours at SharkJack I had such a room 'comped' to me.

I too have visted the FlightSerendipitous and found it infernally confusing. So many halls and rooms, it's easy to get lost. That, and I swear I heard children within the walls.

I'll stick to on and under sea from now on thanks. Better the ghosts you're familiar with than the ones you're not.

I travelled on the FlightSerendipitous with my senior. She retired after we scribed a day-long meeting hashing out transit, SkyKnight quartering, and WildHarvest rights between LuftBaronKell? and a clan of Phoecenni residing around several strategic isles. After that I wandered in the gaming halls and had a long conversation in a glass bottomed pool with EvadneSpiral and her sisters about Xiogi.

Lily, dear, EvadneSpiral and her sisters were using Xiogi in the manner that drylanders make use of the LanguageOfFlowers. I am sure that she and her sisters were in a high state of amusement while they talked over your head about you and all their usual machinations. But I would count it a sign of favour that they spoke so long with you. Or a sign they wanted to learn something.
